Given an established style guide, my task was to build upon it. To create an animation toolkit that didn’t break the rules while adding fresh elements to it. Responsible for animation and design shown here, as well as footage selections.

Style Exploration

Direction 1: Utilizing gradients over the uncolored footage.

Direction 2: Utilizing frames and multiplying the time-of-day color over the footage.

Direction 3: Utilizing soft shapes and bringing the time-of-day color through the shadows of the footage.

Final Renders

Direction 1 was selected. These are the final animations that were delivered as a toolkit where the time-of-day colors and labels (Morning, Afternoon and Evening) could be easily switched between while the footage could be replaced.
